The privacy and security of your personal information is extremely important to us at Gloucestershire Retinal Education Group. This privacy policy takes into account the new requirements under the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2016 (from 25 May 2018). The policy explains how and why we use your personal data so that you can be confident about giving us your information.

The policy applies to anyone who is registered on this site.

You can be assured that we’ll never sell your personal data and will only share it with those who are either directly involved with the course.

What personal data do we collect?

Your personal data is any information which identifies you, or which can be identified as relating to you personally. When we register you on the GREG Qualifications site we enter only your name and email address as this is all that is required to register you on the system.

By submitting your personal data to be entered onto the GREG site, you are entering a contract with us. We will only use your personal data on contractual grounds as permitted by the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (from 25 May 2018) and the UK Data Protection Act 1998. This will include us processing and storing your personal data in relation to the registration of the course.

Where is my data stored?

We store your personal data on the following systems The site is stored on an external server maintained by third party, HowToMoodle. Access to the site is restricted to Gloucestershire Hospital’s Education team and HowToMoodle support team who have confirmed compliance under the new GDPR regulations. On this system, you are able to amend your personal data and/or edit your notification preferences at any time.

How long will we store your personal data?

Once you have completed your course and no longer require acces to the GREG site your personal details will be removed. At any time whilst completing the course, you have the right to request us to remove your personal data from our systems by contacting us at: however, in doing so, you must understand that we will no longer be able to process your course certification.
